Thanks for sharing, Marla. I'm so fond of this farm, in particular. There is something special about the landscape, the people and all that happens there. I'll be occasionally sharing photographs from the farm over the next four or so months. I have lots of work ahead of me. - Ann

Awesome picure. Brings back memories of when I was a child growing up on the farm. My mother raised all sorts of chickens and roosters. I love the red color with the white chicken....its like she is almost walking on a carpet out of her home!!

[...] I’m a huge fan of the Plains Art Museum here in Fargo, N.D. Maybe it’s the beautiful space [hard wood floors meets high ceilings and lots of windows]. Maybe it’s the location [downtown Fargo where I spend most of my waking hours]. Maybe it’s the fabulous art and educational programs [you have read about vermin right!?].
Thanks Lisa and Kathy for your comments. It means a lot to me when people make time to share their reactions, thoughts and perspective. I hope you both got a chance to look at more photographs on MPR's website. There is something special about the land and the people in smaller communities on both sides of the Red River that I'm fascinated by. Best, Ann
